Coffee is quite possibly the great (non-human) love of my life:
Other things that I love:
- Sepohra
- My ibook
- The ocean
- Kenny Chesney
- Thorne Hills, and all of the other places in the world that are touched by the same kind of endearing and "curious" atmospheres (ie Carl's Hideaway)
Am working right now, it is soooo slow, and I have so much homework to do. Here's what I have to do for school in the next four weeks:
- Honors Seminar / Thesis Project: Finish my rough draft by Wednesday, revise it, and defend it (yes, DEFEND it. Like in front of a committee.)
- Women's Studies: 6 more classes, one final ten-page paper
- Sociology of the Internet: 8 more discussion topics, build a website (gaaah)
- American Literary Realism: 6 more classes, read Wharton's The House of Mirth and one other novel I can't remember, one final paper, take-home exam
Sometimes I think my life would be ameliorated by a Situation Room, you know, like the White House. Like, "Meeting at 9 in the Situation Room, Sara's having trouble with her thesis." Or, "This just in from the Situation Room: if you read the Sparknotes instead of the novel, you'll have time to go to the gym, and we've arranged to pick up your drycleaning for you."
